For those living in Tokyo, Japan, Hitomi will be performing a short live at a local club in Tokyo (the same place she appeared at at her last live). She will be performing with TARO KATO, a former-BEAT CRUSADERS member.

Live Appearance

This is...quite late, but two weeks ago Hitomi had her first live of sorts since 2011. While not a full live, Hitomi appeared with ex-BEAT CRUSADER band member KATO TARO on November 26th at Urban Troica in Ebisu, Tokyo. I'm hoping this is a good sign, and we'll be getting more things from her in the future.

Recording?

According to a new twitter post, it seems Hitomi has entered the recording studio and is currently recording an unnamed song! Despite having left her management company, it's unknown if she is still signed to Sony Music or not (though her official site is still up and running). Let's hope that this is a good sign for a new single!

Long Time, No See!

So, as you may have noticed, I haven't updated this blog in over a year. Yeah, sorry about that...

In any case, with the closing of her official fan club, it was announced that Hitomi had voluntarily decided to leave her record label and management company. So...yeah, she officially quit as a solo artist.

However, she did reopen her Twitter account, which reveals that she's been active lately as a live vocalist for the big band WUJABINBIN.

Quitting Music?

Over the past few months, it has become more and more apparent and likely that Takahashi will be quitting the music business. In a recent blog post she made (her blog is now unavailable for some reason), she bid "see ya later" to everyone with hopes that she can see us again. Also, her official fan club has shut down, and she is no longer promoted by Stardust (Stardust lists she terminated her contract with them for personal reasons). Her quitting music has not been confirmed yet, but, also due to very low sales, it seems likely that she may have also been dropped by her label.

In wake of the downtime that has come after the release of Takahashi's 3rd album, I have taken the time to update the Song List page with all songs from "PICORINPIN". Expect the rest of her songs to appear very soon.
